My Reflections

Reflecting upon the experience of working both individually and as a group member, several thoughts come to mind. The number 1 experience is that of collaborating with three conscientious individuals, namely Lu-Ann, Sacha, and Kate. I have listed other reflections below.

- The enormity of the task: When individuals collaborate and offer ideas and opinions, it soon becomes obvious that the final product is going to be good, but also is going to take a lot of work.

- Dependency on electronic technology: To be able to complete the
assignment, you definitely need access to quality and functioning
technology.

- Usefulness: I have gained a lot of knowledge of what’s out there and what I can use in the classroom.

- Difference of opinion: Working collaboratively, you debate, discuss and “give and take” as to what constitutes the correct approach to a task. I believe that our group was good at this. When personal ideas and suggestions were put on the table they were always justified by valid argument.

- Volunteering: I was pleasantly impressed at the way members of our group jumped at volunteering to complete a task.

- Students: I was a little surprised at individual student diversity, relating to knowledge and familiarity regarding technology. This was within my own class and the classrooms of others.

Thank you for reading these personal reflections.
